Going Boldly

Last week, my family and I settled into our new home in Edina.  This has been a long anticipated, and very drawn out process for us.  Now that we are here, I can focus more attention back on my mission in Haiti.  

I will be starting Creole lessons next week.  Two of my GlobalFingerprints partners and I will be working with a local couple (she is from Minnesota, and he is from Haiti) to get to know some Creole before we are hit the ground in Haiti.  
The other thing that I have been focused on is developing my ministry partnership team.  I sent out letters last week and responses are slowly trickling back in.  This is the biggest part of my job right now since I cannot actually "start" until I am fully funded.  I am trusting that God will provide the resources I need, both spiritually and financially, but I am human, and I am inpatient.  :)

Prayer Requests

That God would provide the resources I need to get started on my work in Haiti.

That God would raise up a Haitian band director who is passionate about using music as a tool to help children see God and the hope and love he has for them.  For protection for my family and I as I do this work for God's kingdom.For the rest of my team and the work that they are doing. 

Financing My Mission

I need to raise $1854.00 per month for 23 months, or $22,246.00 annually for two years.  There are also $3,600.00 worth of one-time, start-up fees.  
If you'd like to see how that breaks down per month, I'd love to meet with you and show you the details.
