Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Welcome to 2015! 2014 was such an amazing year with some many wonderful but major changes that in 2015 I'm hoping for the opportunity to settle into them.
Updates
GlobalFingerprints
This last month has been a slow month as far as progress toward the band program is concerned. I'm still working to put together a team to travel later this spring. I'm hoping to find a team that is a small jazz combo that can help teach some basic instruments (keyboards, recorders, etc.) and make them sound good by providing a back-up band.
My task in December was the GlobalFingerprints Christmas Card. My good friend was a huge help in getting them printed for us. We used the updated photos we took of the kids in October and included the messages they wrote or colored for their sponsors. With a lot of help from my team, we stuffed, addressed and mailed the cards in time for Christmas.
Wooddale Church
In October, I started working part-time at the Edina campus of Wooddale Church. My role there has me doing many of the things I love to do; connecting with people, connecting people to other people or ministries, planning, organizing, socializing... It's great fit and I'm very thankful!
The House
We're so close to being done. We're painting today and the flooring will be installed next week. Andy has done an amazing job. I'm so thankful to have such a handy and talented husband! We're looking forward to separating the kids out from the one room they have shared since Memorial Day weekend. We're also looking forward to moving the rest of our stuff into the house from the garage. We're looking forward to using our garage to park our cars in... especially now with the snow and cold!
